Born in Santo Domingo, DR, Dilcia Gonzalez-Queiro, also known as Sole Rebel, has been an artist since she can remember. Daughter of folklore Painter Amancio Gonzalez and writer Dr. Luz Quiero, she grew up in the Bronx, Harlem and Washington Heights.
She graduated from La Guardia HS of Arts and Performing Arts in 2002 and has recently obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Novel illustration at Academy of Art U.
